Senior Data Engineer, Commerce Intelligence

The mission

Shared knowledge needs stable definitions and traceable events. Build pipelines for analytics, evaluation and machine learning while preserving merchant context and semantic accuracy.

What you’ll work on

• Design data models and event contracts for products, orders, engagement and fulfillment.
• Build ingestion and transformation with quality checks and lineage.
• Handle schema evolution, late data, duplication and reprocessing.
• Provide usable datasets with access controls and personal-data minimization.

What you bring

• Data engineering, SQL and data modeling experience.
• Practical ability to build batch or event-driven pipelines with Python and appropriate tooling.
• Understanding of data contracts, idempotency, backfills and quality monitoring.
• Care for documentation, shared definitions and merchant data security.
