The mission
A product image is a rich starting point, but it cannot reveal everything. Build paths that combine vision, text and available data into useful product information with clear confidence and review boundaries.
What you’ll work on
- Design VLM and OCR pipelines for product attributes and structured catalog data.
- Build evaluation sets spanning image quality, languages and product categories.
- Distinguish visible facts, retrieved information and uncertain inference.
- Experiment with model selection, preprocessing and adaptation, measuring quality, cost and latency.
What you bring
- Applied experience in computer vision or multimodal machine learning.
- Strong Python and a machine learning framework such as PyTorch.
- Understanding of data design, labeling, evaluation and model error analysis.
- Ability to turn a model or experiment into an observable production service.
