How to prepare a 1,000-product catalog before marketing
A large catalog starts with knowing which source data you can trust. Repeating a mistake across 1,000 pages is easier than fixing it later. Build review into production and choose a sample that represents your catalog before processing everything.

Create a reliable record for every product
Start with a unique SKU, product name, brand, category, variants, price, stock and original image. Leave unknown fields blank rather than inventing facts. Distinguish package size from shipping weight, and parent products from color or size variants. Keep an untouched copy of the original import for recovery.
Clean the source before generating content
Look for duplicate SKUs, missing prices, inconsistent units and broken image URLs. A 100 ml and a 200 ml product should not become a description suggesting one package. Standardize Arabic and English names and units. Manually review items with specific storage requirements or precise technical specifications.
Start with a 20-product sample
Choose different categories, price points and shapes, including a product with variants and one with incomplete data. This is a suggested operational sample, not a universal standard. Record manual preparation time, corrections needed and products accepted for publication. Use those findings to adjust instructions before expanding.
Move from facts to purchase decisions
Give each page a specific title, an introduction explaining use, and verifiable specifications. Answer questions about dimensions, included items and usage when the source supports them. Avoid keyword lists and unsupported certifications or health claims. Check that translation preserves meaning and units rather than merely producing fluent text.
Review studio and lifestyle images
Keep the original photograph as a reference. Compare packaging, product color, logos and text in every generated image. Reject an attractive output if it changes the product or adds an accessory that is not included. Studio images should show the item clearly; lifestyle images should explain context without misleading buyers about what they receive.
Release in batches and verify outcomes
Publish an accepted batch, then check the mobile product page, price, stock, variants and add-to-cart flow. Review SEO titles, summaries, internal links and categories. After launch, monitor Search Console. Visibility, indexing and sales are different measures; successful catalog production does not guarantee search ranking or revenue.
What does the Joolyoo example show?
The published operational example for Joolyoo, a store owned by Mollkom, records content improvements for 2,006 products and successful Studio and Lifestyle image pairs retained for 2,008 products. These are documented production counts, not an independent customer testimonial or measured sales uplift. Read the case scope and limitations before comparing it with your project.
